I am trying to build a "libgnustep-base. Of course you need to install the gcc-objc , make and some other packages. For what I see Cygwin clang has not the objC portion, but I could be wrong.

The installer installs GNUstep onto most varieties of Windows see below for tested installations and sets up the computer to make it easy to run GNUstep applications.
